I have used a company in the UK called CARJET (use this link) many times and have found them to be very efficient. The booking is done online and you receive confirmation documents by e-mail to pick up your reserved car at your arrival airport.

Airport Transfer Services

Taxi

The taxi rank is located directly outside the passenger terminal, and the journey to Almerimar costs approximately 70 Euros.

Coach and Bus Services

There is a bus from the airport to Almeria city centre, number 15, the fare is 70 cents and it takes about 30 minutes. There is a local bus service from El Ejido to Almerimar. I have not yet identified a bus or coach link between Almeria Airport and Almerimar or El Ejido, but you can book airport transfers either by shuttle bus or private taxi depending on the size of your party and other passengers travelling on the same day. The following online Internet booking links are worth exploring. Depending on the number in your party and other passengers for the same route, you buy either a seat on a minibus or a private taxi.

Two main airports serve Almerimar

Malaga: 190 Km to the west (allow up to two-and-a-half hours).

Almeria: 45 minutes to the east.

Almeria is the most convenient airport for Almerimar.

Gatwick: Daily flights

Stansted: Daily flights

Birmingham: Monday, Thursday and Saturday

Manchester: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday

London-Luton: Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
