This villa has two double bedrooms
and two bathrooms. It is fully fitted and beautifully furnished
throughout. The exceptionally
large terrace extends down the side and back of the villa providing
more than ample outdoor living space for 6 people. |
|
An additional double sofa-bed in the large lounge allows a total of 6 people
to sleep with complete comfort. The accommodation
page gives a more detailed description and includes images
of the villa. |

The two bathrooms provide exceptional capacity for dressing during
those peak times in the morning and early evening when everyone
is trying to get ready at the same time! The whole villa is light
and exceptionally spacious. |
|
A central lobby connects the master bedroom, the second bathroom
and bedroom to the other half of the villa which contains a separate
fully-equipped kitchen and a serving hatch to the large lounge
and dining area. |
|
The lounge is connected to the large terrace
through patio doors which span the whole width of the lounge. The
view from the terrace is truly breathtaking and allows you to
enjoy a panorama from the wild life sanctuary on the eastern
extreme to the lower Sierras on the west. Sunset brings
everyone to the terrace for happy hour. |

The villa
is on the superbly designed development called La Ladera
del Golf and is built on land that has been carved
out of cliffs overlooking the golf course and the resort. |
|

The swimming pool is 60 metres long with a separate children's
pool and is surrounded by a large private garden area well planted
with trees and shrubs. There is a lifeguard
in attendance every day from June to the end of September. During
Winter months an indoor pool is available at Almerimar Golf hotel
for a small charge. |
|
These factors combine to create a wonderfully
elevated terrace and a view which very few locations
can offer. Below you the whole of the resort is laid out
with the green of the golf course and the cream and terra cotta
low-rise buildings surrounding the marina. Above this is
the blue sea and the blue sky - a combination of colours that
you never tire of as you enjoy the warm sunshine on the south-facing
terrace. |

Almerimar is
situated on the coastal plain below the foothills of the Sierra
Nevada and enjoys a year-round desert climate with low humidity,
warm sunny Winters and no extremes of temperature. It's
an excellent location if you enjoy skiing and golf. |

A unique feature of this resort is that it is completely isolated
from the main trunk roads which run east-west several kilometres
to the north. The 150 foot sandstone cliffs encircle the
whole resort on the coastal plain creating a completely safe
and relaxed setting. |

All the roads in the resort are local access
roads only and the resort is entered by a single road down through
the cliffs. This gives it the feeling of an completely closed,
safe, exclusive and secure holiday village. |

Unlike many older resorts all building in
Almerimar is restricted to low-rise with new developments set
well back from natural beaches which will remain untouched.
With 346 dry days each year you can enjoy continuous
sunshine with temperatures of 20+ degrees in January and the

The steady onshore breeze provides welcome
cooling in hot weather and the absence of mosquitoes
in summer allows you to sleep at night with the windows
open. Air conditioning provides heating during winter and
cooling in the summer. The beaches are numerous, natural and
never crowded. |

If you are keen on Golf and Skiing it is quite easy to enjoy perfect Golf conditions
in mid-winter with brilliant sunshine and 20 degrees on the Almerimar
Golf course and, next day, the same sunshine with perfect skiing
conditions at over 3000 metres on the Sierra Nevada only 1 hour
50 minutes away. |

Places of interest,
leisure and sports activities
There is an endless choice
of things to do and places to go in this part of Spain which
is surrounded by beautiful countryside and spectacular scenery.
87% of Almeria is mountains including the Sierra Nevada
and Sierra Gador. Visit Granada and The Alhambra
Palaces. The city of Almeria has the Alcazaba, Cathedral, and
other historic buildings. The village of Rodalquilar has a gold
mine and botanical gardens. Mojacar Pueblo is one of many typical
Spanish villages. Tabernas is the only desert in Europe with
Mini-Hollywood and Texas Hollywood theme parks. Try leisure and
sports activities, such as go-karting, sailing, wind-surfing.

Mar. |

Flights & Car
Hire
EasyJet now has daily flights into Almeria
from Stansted and Gatwick. Ryanair has daily
flights from Stansted. Monarch has four flights
a week from London-Luton and Manchester. There
are three flights a week from Birmingham. Flying to this
airport is the best choice for price and convenience. Click on

CARJET (use this link) many times
and have found them to be very efficient. The booking is done
online and you receive confirmation documents by e-mail to pick
up your reserved car at your arrival airport. |
